HONORARY TEAM MEMBER

Andrew Isaac (1980-2025) was a great friend, co-worker, and confidant to several Pennant team members. Health concerns prevented Andy from joining Pennant as an official team member, but he was an important part of our trajectory, helping Ryan gather the confidence to start the company and offering advice along the way.

While running social media and audience acquisition together at a previous job, Ryan and Andy were fortunate to hire Tony Xypteras and Anna Fogel near the start of their careers. Tony and Anna would eventually join Pennant as early employees; Ryan, Anna, and Tony now comprise Pennant’s three-person leadership team. In a more fair timeline, Andy would have been a Pennant co-founder and our fourth leadership team member.

We aim to make him proud in many ways. Most of all by finding levity in the most stressful of situations. And by remembering his parting advice: “Be kind to each other.”
